Active View Viewable (The most important metric to earn more eCPM)

Ad optimization of Google Ads depend on the following:

  • Active View Viewable

The most important metric that Google has recently introduced is Active View Viewable. This metric should not be ignored in the reports as it has a direct impact on the eCPMs.


Below the the mechanism for ad visibility:

If the ad is visible to a user for 1 sec, it will get 100% ad visibility. If the average active view viewable for all ads is below 50%, you will get lowest eCPMs.

If AVV is greater than or equal to 50%, the eCPM will be maximum.
